De kunst en inspiraties achter Riot’s Legends of Runeterra

Ay: Netrunner draaide echt mijn begrip van welke kaartspellen zijn als een genre op zijn kop. Daarvoor waren kaartspellen zeer op een unit of creature-combat gebaseerde games, waar je kaarten speelt die specifieke personages vertegenwoordigen. . In Netrunner is het erg gericht op het plaatsen van jou en je tegenstander in deze fantasie, waar je de hacker bent die probeert de verdediging van het bedrijf van de tegenstander te hacken. PCGN: We hebben releases gezien die beginnen als een fysiek spel en erin slagen om een leven te krijgen als een online game. Denk je dat er enige capaciteit is dat het omgekeerde gebeurt?
Ay: Dat is een geweldige vraag en niet iets waar we het in grote details over hebben gehad. Mijn onderbuik is misschien een eenmalige, maar waarschijnlijk niet als een langdurig gescheiden ding. Een deel van de reden is dat, omdat we zijn begonnen met digitaal, veel van de ervaring is gebouwd en opzettelijk is ontworpen om geweldig te zijn in een digitaal formaat. We hebben er niet echt veel van gemaakt om zich gemakkelijk te vertalen naar een fysieke ervaring.
